The Media Services team has built the most robust offerings of interdisciplinary streaming video available at an academic library, including such partner providers as Kanopy, Academic Video Online, Docuseek, Swank Motion Pictures, and Projectr. Our streaming video guide provides the most up-to-date access to our library-provided streaming services.

Spiro Kostof lectures

Spiro Kostof (1936-1991) was widely recognized as one of the world's leading architectural historians, known for exposing the relationships between architecture and the people and cultures that built it. He taught this, his last course, in the spring of 1991 in the Architecture Department of UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design.

The Pacifica Radio/UC Berkeley Social Activism Recording Project

The UC Berkeley Social Activism Sound Recording Project is a partnership between the UC Berkeley Library, the Pacifica Foundation, and other private and institutional sources. The intent of the project is to gather, catalog, and make accessible primary source media resources related to social activism and activist movements in California in the 1960s and 1970s. Some recordings have been edited for purposes of sound quality and continuity.  The project was founded and developed under the leadership of Gary Handman.
