The Attendant

Directed by Isaac Julien. Cast: ThomasBaptiste, Cleo Sylvestre, John Wilson. Thisfilm presents the inner fantasies of anolder black married attendant at a museum,who is obsessed by images of his homosexualdesires. In his fantasies, the paintings onthe walls of his museums, includingFrancois Biard's Scene on the Coast ofAfrica, are transformed into very eroticimages of men being bound and whipped. 8min. c1993.
