Alonso's Dream

Alonso lives in the Highland of Chenalho, where his community is filled with conflict due to the standoff between the Zapatista National Liberation Army that is demanding equal rights for the indigenous people of Mexico, and the Mexican Army. The film focuses on the impact the revolution and paramilitary violence have had on the daily lives of Mayan peasants in Chiapas, Chenalho and Acteal, Mexico.
