Using the Library during COVID-19

Many of our services are now being offered in new ways. To find the latest information on course reserves, book returns, 24/7 online help, and more, visit our Library services and resources during COVID-19 page. The information on that page supersedes all other information on the Library website at this time.

Berkeley students have free access to thousands of courses and online videos covering software, technology, business and creative skills.

Log in to LinkedIn Learning with your CalNet ID.

LinkedIn Learning (was Lynda.com) includes instruction about specific software – including some products available via Software Central – as well as skills related to programming, web design, audio and video production, project management, time management, and much more. Student access is provided through February 2022 by the UC Berkeley Library through a grant from the Student Technology Fund.

You will be asked if you want to connect your Berkeley LinkedIn Learning account with your personal LinkedIn profile.  By connecting accounts you would receive course recommendations based on your LinkedIn profile, and can communicate about course content with other users.  However, by connecting your accounts you are agreeing to allow LinkedIn Learning to use, share, and track your online activities.  Use your digital literacy skills to consider the terms of service carefully and make an informed choice.
