Alma/UC Library Search Problem Reporting Pathways for Library Staff

How to use this document:

If you want to request a role in Alma, please follow the procedure for Requesting and updating Alma roles

All other issues related to Alma or UC Library Search can follow the paths below.

UC Library Search Alma

If the problem is replicable and not the result of user error, report it using one of the following avenues:

  • Issues with electronic resources (e.g. e-resource not working, missing resources, incorrect links, proxy issues): eproblem@library.berkeley.edu
  • Issues with a bibliographic record (typo, call number issue, etc.): Badcat
  • Specific, replicable “bug” in the software (e.g. something in UC Library Search is broken, missing, or incorrect): helpbox-library@berkeley.edu
  • If you would like to share a general idea to improve UC Library Search (e.g. an enhancement, a frustration, a comment, or a question about how something in UC Library Search works): Issues + Ideas Tracker
  • Patrons may report issues or send comments UC Library Search Feedback Form.
