Planning

Ordering new furniture or planning a new workspace?

Our services include choosing furniture, finishes, and colors to help your unit design a workspace that will work with the needs of your staff and patrons. The Library Design Office (LDO) will also assist you in obtaining price quotes, by working with vendors directly, and by managing orders and delivery schedules through Library Purchasing. The LDO will help your project coordinator evaluate any disabled access issues related to the American's with Disabilities Act and also with building and fire codes, electrical, maintenance, and telecom access in order to help avoid unforeseen problems.
