The Little Colonel (1935)

Directed by David Butler. Cast: Shirley Temple, Lionel Barrymore, Bill Robinson, John Lodge, Evelyn Venable, Hattie McDaniel. An old-fashioned Southern colonel has disowned his daughter for marrying a Yankee and resists all entreaties for a reconciliation until he succumbs to the charms of his little granddaughter. Includes the famous "stairs" dance by Temple and "Bojangles" Robinson. 75 min.
