In 1917, director Major Luiz Thomaz Reis travels with his associate and cinematographer, Marshall Candido Mariano Rondon, through the Amazon River areas in the Central and Northern regions of Brazil. This film is a compilation of several shorter films, focusing on the local natives and their culture, as well as the jungle. Produced and directed by Thomaz Reis. Presented at the International Latino Film Festival held in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally produced as a motion picture in 1932.
