The interviews listed here typically were not conducted as part of an on-going project. Instead, the majority of these interviews document the singular contributions of individuals to the cultural life of the United States and the larger global arena. Interviews are added to this subject catagory as they are completed.

Areas covered include: painting, sculpture, photography, music, composition, architecture, landscape design, printing and book design, poetry, fiction, journalism, dance, and beyond. The interviews were conducted with artists, gallery owners, museum professionals, and critics.
