Loan Policy

Borrowing privileges are restricted to Berkeley faculty, graduate students, and staff.  Please see our access policy for details.

Monographs 2 hours* or Library Use Only
Journals Library Use Only
Reference Library Use Only
Reserves 2 hours* or Library Use Only
CDs and DVDs 1 day or Library Use Only
Special Collections Library Use Only

*2 hour loans are non-renewable

Returning Books

All material must be returned to the Art History/Classics Circulation Desk.

Overdue Material

Patrons may be fined and/or billed, and accounts blocked for overdue and/or non-returned materials.

Special Collections

Special collection items are non-circulating, and may only be used in the Art History/Classics Library. Request these items at the Art History/Classics circulation desk, or email ahc-library@berkeley.edu.  Please allow up to 48 hours for paging of special collection materials.
