Proxy Server Technical Problem Report Form

If you received an error reporting "Your Library privileges do not authorize you to use the Proxy Server," please contact the Privileges Desk. Only the Privileges Desk can modify your Library privileges; we regret that Library Technical Support will be unable to assist you with this.

Please submit this form at the time you encounter a problem. The program that generates the form will collect information about your browser, operating system, and Internet connection. This, together with your Library card/Cal ID number, may be crucial to resolving the problem. We will keep your information confidential. You should receive a response within two working days.

  • Note that the Proxy Server can be used only for web-based resources licensed to the UC Berkeley Library.
