DMAG Action Items, August 27, 2008
1) Next Steps for Technical Services Discussion
Action: Urbanic and Cochran will set up monthly meetings with the three Technical Services liaisons to Doe/Moffitt -- Armanda Barone, Rebecca Green, and Sheila Wekselbaum -- to discuss issues impacting D/M staff and bring relevant issues to DMAG.
Action: Dupuis will write a description of the changes seen in use of flags for materials received in DM units from Technical Services processes, and clarify the units and locations which are part of DM and not "subject specialty libraries".
Action: Urbanic and Cochran will plan a meeting with GovInfo staff to discuss related technical services issues.
2) Fall Finals Week Plans
Action: Dupuis will contact individuals and identify a coordinator for Fall Finals Week.
3) Annual Reports and DM Themes
Action: Reflections on work from last year and proposed goals for next year will be discussed at the next DMAG meeting.
4) Consultation Spaces
Action: Urbanic and Cochran will talk to HSS and IAS staff about office hours/consultation spaces to get an idea of interest and to explore and support various approaches to reach library users.
