Delivery to Your Staging Area
When the Subversion repository for your site is created, a staging area is also established. The staging area is a test version of your production website where you can preview the changes you make to your site's content before the changes go into production.

Changes you commit to your repository are reflected in your staging area immediately after the SmartSVN client completes the commit operation.
