Scanning

  • All of the UC Berkeley libraries, and the Main (Gardner) Stacks, have at least one Scannx station.
  • Scanner specifications.
  • Large format scanning:
  • Scanning to email, cloud storage and to a USB drive is free except large format scanning.
  • Scanners equipped with auto document feeders are located at the following libraries:
    • Moffitt Information Gateway
    • Doe Reference Hall
    • Environmental Design
    • East Asian Library
    • Public Health
    • Physics

Printing

  • Pay for printing - UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff pay with their Cal 1 Card.
    • Visitors can request a Cal 1 Guest Card from a library public service desk, or the Copy Center in Moffitt Library.
  • Submitted print jobs will remain in the queue for two hours. Print jobs are cleared after two hours.

Wi-Fi Printing

  • Print from your laptop or portable device. See our Wi-Fi Printing at the Library guide.
  • Submitted print jobs will remain in the queue for two hours. Print jobs are cleared after two hours.

Copy Center in Moffitt Library

Hours:

  • Spring and Fall semesters: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
  • Summer and Winter sessions: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Located just inside the entrance to the Moffitt Library on floor 3
  • Provides expanded printing and copying services.
