Persistent Links in Springer Electronic Books
You can search for Springer e-books (20,000+ titles in every scientific discipline) through springerlink.com, or through OskiCat.
The link that appears in your browser's address bar is the book's persistent link. If the URL ends with "&page-1", you know you have the correct link for the first page of the book.
Each page in the book has its own URL. To link to a specific chapter or page:
- Choose the desired chapter from the "Browse This Book" table of contents, or use the page navigation to go to your desired page.
- The URL in your browser's address bar will be the persistent link to that particular page.

Persistent Links in SpringerLink Journals
You can provide a persistent link to the webpage for the article, or a persistent link to the PDF itself.
Linking to the article page:
- The URL that appears in the browser bar is the persistent link for the article.
Linking directly to the PDF:
- Right-click on the "Download PDF" link
- Copy and paste that link into your webpage, course management system, or other document.
