Persistent Links in EBSCO Databases
EBSCO databases include Academic Search Complete, Alternative Press Index, America: History & Life, Business Source Complete, Historical Abstracts, and more.
Many articles in EBSCO databases are not available in full text through EBSCO, but the articles may be available electronically through other vendors. If a full article record does not include a PDF Full Text link, use the UC-eLinks button ( ) to see if the Library has full-text access through another vendor.
The UC-eLinks button will link you to Library-owned electronic full text when available. If the article is available on another vendor platform (such as JSTOR, Wiley, ScienceDirect, etc.) follow the directions for locating permanent links for that platform.
To link to an abstract or full-text content in EBSCO databases:
- Select the article from your search results.
- Make sure the article has a "PDF Full Text" link (if it does not, you will be linking to the abstract/citation ONLY).
- Select Permalink from the Tools sidebar.
- Copy the URL shown and paste it into your document, webpage or bSpace site.
