Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Databases
Provides full text access to core journals and conference proceedings published by the Optical Society of America (OSA) and related publishers, covering optics and photonics. The ImageBank includes more than 200,000 images.
Reaxys is a web-based interface for three chemical information databases, Beilstein, Gmelin and the Patent Chemistry Database (PCD). Structure, reaction and citation searching are possible. Reaxys is a key resource for locating information on how to synthesis organic, inorganic and organometallic compounds. It is also a good source for critically evaluated data on on physical, chemical, spectral, bioactivity, or toxicological properties of chemical compounds.
Indexes over 9,000 journals, patents, conferences, books, technical reports, and dissertations related to chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, and the biomedical sciences.
Use is restricted to current UC faculty, staff, and students.
Indexes journals, monographs, technical reports, theses, letters, meeting abstracts, conference papers, and reports in all areas of toxicology, including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, environmental pollutants, and mutagens and teratogens.
