"Radio blaring hot rock, the sleek black car slowly made its way across a misty Golden Gate.
The dark eyed driver, George Mortelli, chewing a wad of gum, drove as though in a trance. 'Yeah,' he thought. 'It can be done.'
Once across, he took a sharp right into the observation parking lot facing San Francisco. He looked right straight down the tarmac of the Golden Gate Bridge. Moving along, he found a parking space. He pulled in and closed the windows. He jumped from the car and locked it. His eyes never seemed to leave the steel girders of the span. He left the car and moved off to the right, following a little path which permitted a closer view of the engineering marvel. ...
'Yes,' he said to himself, 'it can be done.'"
