'Til Death Do Us Part

Takes the viewer on a journey with incarcerated battered women, as they relate their stories from first falling in love, through the abuse by their spouses, the murder, trial, parole process, and finally, for one woman, freedom. It is thought in our society that a woman can leave an abusive relationship at any time. However, the women in this film prove the contrary. They were under the age of 24, isolated from their families and had virtuallly no money. They all reached a point where there was a final beating in which the survival instinct prevailed.

A post-operative transsexual, Michelle Dumaresq, has provoked outrage by entering the sport of women's mountain bike racing. The program explores complex issues of gender identity surrounding the controversy and manifested in Dumaresq's personal and professional relationships. The seemingly sleepy intersection of Delaware Ave. and 12th St. in Fort Pierce, Fla. is ground zero for the ferocious abortion rights battle raging in America. On one corner stands the abortion clinic A Woman's World; across the street is the Pregnancy Care Center, an ambiguously named pro-life outpost dedicated to heading off abortion seekers at the pass. 28 Women: A Chance for Independence

28 single mothers, who decided to enter a woman's shelter in Phoenix, share their experiences in this documentary. Their life experiences are examined as these women struggle to achieve self-sufficiency in a safe environment and describe their individual pursuits to construct a stable foundation for an independent family life. 2005. 17 min.

5 Girls

Follows five young teenage girls going to schools in Chicago. Looks at their family life, their behavior at home and school, and their friendships and other relationships. 2001. 113 min.

A Drug Called Pornography.

Takes a detailed look at the negative side-effects to the use of pornography: addiction to pornography, sex mis-education, desensitization, conditioning and acting out. The film also explores adrenaline junkies and drug users to help explain how it is possible to become physically addicted to pornography. Includes candid interviews with pornography users, convicted sex offenders describing the influence of pornography on their behavior, survivors of sexual abuse, experts and authors who investigate pornographic issues. 2000. 58 min.

A Gathering of Men.
