When: 01/29/2010 - 10:00am - 11:30am
Where: 105 Doe Library
Prerequisite: None
Summary: The emphasis of the session will not be on how to find data, but rather will focus on basic statistical and data manipulation skills that allow a student to, for example, develop an argument based on their own analysis of data and support it with tables and graphs. The session will assume no previous training in statistical methods. Participants will be introduced to SDA, a web-based application widely used for teaching data analysis.
