Skype is software that allows users to make calls over the internet. The Library is experimenting with Skype to replace some existing landlines and cut costs, but its uses don't stop there. In this session we will focus on using Skype in public service. It will also cover the following topics:

  1. Making and receiving calls 
  2. Using voicemail
  3. Conference calls
  4. Video calling
  5. Chat & group chat
  6. Call forwarding
  7. Tips on using Skype to work with patrons
