I was on approved leave last semester and extended my library privileges for 6 months. This extension will expire before the fall semester begins in August, and I have a library book that is due at the end of July. What can I do to make sure I can keep it through the 3-week period between its due date and when my privileges are reinstated?

The new My OskiCat system has some circulation abilities which our previous system did not, namely the ability to allow no checkouts beyond the end of one's appointment.  It is now impossible to renew  books beyond the expiration date of your Library account.  As such, all materials are due on the last active day of one's account. Contact the Privilieges Desk in Doe Library for more information at 510.642.3403 or at privdesk@library.berkeley.edu.
