Gifts to the Library
Treasures from personal libraries come in random thousands to great institutions like Berkeley. The Library gives them new life by cataloging them and making them visible to the world. The gifts on display, from virtually every library on campus, illustrate depth and diversity, identify donors and celebrate their generosity. The Disability Rights Movement
Photographs taken by Bay Area photographers chronicling the efforts of the disabled community in their efforts to gain equal access. |
Lunch Poem Series
Featuring selected works of Marilyn Hacker, Robert Pinsky, and Chana Bloch, all featured poets in the Library's Spring Lunch Poem Series. Ansel Adams in the University Collections: A Photographer at Work
This exhibition reveals a surprising side of Adam's career in its emphasis on his work as a commercial photographer trying to make a living through the craft of photography. Materials drawn primarily from UC Berkeley collections, including The Bancroft Library Pictorial Collection, the University Archives, and the Berkeley Art Museum. |
