Information Studies
The study of information studies and library science at Berkeley focuses on the design and development of systems and policies to understand, organize and manage information to enhance information access and quality. It includes a broad range of topics from both the social sciences and science & technology, including information organization and retrieval, social and organizational issues of information, economics of information, intellectual property, strategic computing and communications, multimedia, and web services, to mention a few.
