More useful for background and historical information as the volumes in the series are not being updated. Hardback copies in GREF (Heyns Reading Room). In catalogs search as series "area handbook series" to find volumes on different countries.
- Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Country reports and profiles.

Most of the headings can be subdivided by a specific country or region (ex. Debt relief-Brazil or Development banks-Africa. Country names can also be subdivided (ex. Senegal-economic policy)

Search the following licensed e- resources for articles, reports, books, documents.
Access from the Library web page at http://www.lib.berkeley.edu.
Click on "Articles/Article Databases A-Z."
Start by searching keywords in general databases like Expanded Academic ASAP or Proquest Research Library that cover magazines, news and opinion weeklies as well as scholarly journals covering all fields. Many of the articles will be available in full text or you can use UC-eLink to connect to Melvyl for library holdings or publisher web sites for text of articles (if available).
