The National Election Studies program conducts national surveys of American
electorate in all presidential presidential mid-term election years from
1948 to present. Includes data on voting, public opinion, and political
participation. This cd-rom contains time series data from biennial national
elections from 1948 to 1994 and selected panel studies conducted across
years. NES data is also made available through ICPSR. Check with UC Data

The Institute of Governmental Studies Library (109 Moses) maintains an Election
Ephemera collection containing campaign literature including newspaper/periodical
articles, position statements of candidates/interest groups, etc. at the national,
state and regional level. Especially useful for researching statewide ballot
propositions.
Election Corner, a collection of current campaign and election materials
compiled during an election year and housed in a special area of the IGS Reading
Room. Included are periodicals, newsletters, poll data, etc related to the
current year's election.
