Moffitt Library Building Projects

Construction has begun on the New Media Commons. Located on the first floor of Moffitt Library, this will be a flexible, media-equipped classroom seating approximately 49 individuals. The Commons will be used for programs and activities of the Center for New Media, as well as supporting collections and services of the Library's Media Resources Center.

Completed

The Free Speech Movement Café's west terrace has been expanded and renovated. A dramatic, wavelike, translucent exterior canopy provides more covered seating, and exterior lighting has been improved.

The Library Copy Center has moved from the Doe Library to a new permanent location adjacent to the Moffitt Library entrance.
