African Studies
Berkeley's Center for African Studies supports scholarly activities
over a broad range of disciplines and topics that address contemporary
African issues. The Center was established in 1979 as an interdisciplinary
research center to support basic research and training of scholars
and works closely with the Department of African American Studies.
