Create an internal link in an HTML file with
Netscape Composer

  1. Follow all of the applicable steps in the editing with Composer instructions.
  2. Highlight the "target" of the internal link (the place in the document to which the internal link will jump).
  3. Click on the tool bar's Target button (looks like a bull's eye).
  4. In the Target dialog box use the target name that Composer has assigned, or enter a target name of your choosing.
  5. Highlight the text that you want to turn into an internal link.
  6. Click on the tool bar's Link button.
  7. In the Link dialog box choose the appropriate target name from the scroll-down menu entitled: Select a named target in current page (optional).
