On June 27, 2008 the WebFiles service will be discontinued. As an alternative to WebFiles, the campus recommends that students, faculty, and staff who are interested in basic web-based file storage consider bSpace, or the Open Computing Facility (OCF). bSpace is available with 1 GB of storage at no direct cost. bSpace, please see: The OCF is a volunteer student run service on campus. This service, while not financially supported by IST or other campus departments offers the ability to host a website at no cost to students, faculty or staff. However, the Library will provide space on a Unix machine for work related websites. Please contact Lynne Grigsby-Standfill (lgrigsby@library) with your request. The Library Systems Office will create an account for you so you may use secure FTP to transfer files directly to, and delete files from a webserver.
