Metadata tags that keep Google and robots from indexing a web page

If you don't want Google and other robots to index a web page, include the following metadata tags between the <head> tags of your web page:

<meta name="googlebot" content="noindex, nofollow">
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">
