FTP a file to the Library Web with WS_FTP

Double click on the ftp icon
that lives on your computer desktop.

In the space labelled Host Name: type in sunsite.berkeley.edu

In the space labelled User ID: type in
idata
-
In the space labelled User name: type in the password that
you must obtain from webman.

Click on OK.

On the right side, the list of folders in pub/incoming will
appear.

Double click on the folder named web.
If webman created a special folder for you, double click on that
folder.
Example: pub/incoming/web/MUSI/

On the left side, click on the arrow at the top of the C: or D: list
to find the directory in which your files to FTP reside.

Find the file you want to FTP, highlight it. If the file needs to
be renamed, you may rename it here, or after it is FTP'd. There may NOT
be any spaces in file names!

Click on the arrow button that points to the right.

Click on CLOSE.

Click on EXIT.

Inform webman that your file (give the name of the file) is in the
pub/incoming/web folder, and is ready to be placed in your library's, or
unit's directory (give the name of the directory, i.e. ENVI, or
CHEM/chem1a).
