Citation managers

Reference managers (also called citation managers or bibliographic management software) offer a way to save, organize and manage references. Many work with word processing software to format in-text citations and bibliographies for papers and theses, allow you to share references, and enable you to attach or link PDFs to a citation record.

WATCH A large and searchable database of copyright holders run by the University of Reading and the Harry Ransom Center.  Also includes links to U.S. and U.K. copyright laws and to finding copyright holders. 

U.S. Copyright Office  Includes basics of copyright law and other information including the Copyright Catalog, which contains copyright registrations and renewals back to 1978.
