About the group
Statement of purpose
The Student Supervisors Group (SSG) is an informal group for supervisors of student employees from across all libraries. SSG provides an outlet for supervisors to meet and share good practices for working with students. At SSG meetings, supervisors can ask questions for dealing with specific situations (for example, scheduling or performance management), and develop skills to be effective supervisors.
This group is informal; we do not take roll or keep minutes. The group is encouraged to change and transform into whatever shape is useful to all supervisors.
