WRCA manages and maintains numerous collections of archival and manuscript materials donated by hydrologists, engineers, academics, and other members of the water community. The collections are made up of reports, personal papers, corporate records, correspondence, data, news clippings, maps, photographs, and other archival materials. WRCA's archival collections are listed in alphabetical order below.
Access to the collections and their contents is provided in two ways: through the University of California's Melvyl catalog and through the Online Archive of California (OAC). Collection-level records are available for all collections and many are cataloged to the item level. The OAC contains searchable finding aids, which "provide detailed descriptions of collections, their intellectual organization and, at varying levels of analysis, of individual items in the collections."

Please note that not all of the collections listed below are represented in the OAC. For information about collections not found in the OAC, please contact Archives staff.
Due to shelf space limitations at WRCA, many of the collections are housed off-campus at the Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF) in Richmond, CA. Use of these materials must be arranged in advance. Please contact Archives staff to arrange for delivery of the desired materials prior to visiting the Archives.
