Not to put too fine a point on it, but since when did the library consider price as the first consideration, in textual acquisitions? Becky, I know Aurora didn't blink at the grand for the new Groves. Randy's point hit me as a browsed AL this month. A lot of reference to the singular (textual)
mission of the library. With digital delivery doubtless less than 24 months away, isn't that vest rather confining? There are financial constraints in all acquisition, else why would we be needed?
