Unfortunately, there's never been a legit release of this short film as far
as I know but there are many, many public domain versions. It has been
registered under the GATT treaty as an owned and copyrighted film, but I
don't believe the owners have stopped the these bootleg versions. Facets,
Festival Films and Movies Unlimited should have versions. Festival might have
the best, though I haven't seen it.

I should mention that the film was actually produced in France (hence its
ability to be copyrighted under GATT) and won an Academy Award for Best Short
Feature. Twilight Zone later purchased the televison rights to the film when
they were nearing the end of the season and running out of money for their
own productions.

We have access to an original 35mm negative and might attempt one day to gain
rights from the French owners, but to be honest, it would be in the distant
future.
