Xala and Emitai 16 mm prints

We recently purchased Xala and Emitai. Our film studies faculty are
questioning how complete the prints are, especially since the leaders on
Emitai were mislabelled and the flow between reels is very abrupt. Faculty
familiar with Ousmane Sembene's other works say it usually isn't abrupt.
If any of you are familiar with these works, can you please tell me if:

Xala should begin without title or credits
Emitai should end with French soldiers marching the Diola tribespeople out
of sight around a building and without "fin."
