Feature film circulation constitutes less than 10% of our total
circulation (educational videos, 16mm films, CDs, audiocassettes).
Until or unless distributors release educational materials on DVD, we
don't see any reason to change over in the near future. Patrons who
want movies on DVD and have players can get them at the video store.
Feature films are used as a part of the curriculum primarily for
content, not quality of picture. We haven't purchased a 16mm film in
10 years and only 6 laser discs.

We have 28 viewing carrels in the LMC and closed circuit to
classrooms.
