A couple of months ago I posted a request for topical suggestions for a
featured media resource collection of the month. Lots of you sent me
suggestions, on the list and privately. My thanks to Rhonda Rosen,
Richard Cohen, Judy Jones, John Hoskins-Abrahall, Eileen Karsten, Don
Chauncey, Cathy Chung, Stevie Andrew, Linda Morris, Foster Flint and
Elizabeth Stanley.

We've been working on creating a list of topics for the year. Some of them
are actual national celebrations and some reflect local collection
strengths. Here's the compilation of what people sent me, followed by our
filled-in list. If you have any other suggestions, please send them
along. The list is tentative and we can always add good topics!
