Hello Friends!

This is an invitation to all of you who will be attending ALA Midwinter in
Philly to join us
for a rollicking discussion and general good time at the ACRL ARTS Section
Film and Broadcast Discussion Group's meeting:

Sunday, 31 January 1999
2:00 to 4:00 pm
Four Seasons Hotel -- Washington Room

The demand of multimedia content and media ephemera seems to be increasing
daily in both the academic and commercial sectors. At our meeting, we'll
be kicking around ideas and thoughts related to issue of finding and
obtaining stock footage out there in the wide world of media--stuff ranging
from historical film clips to current news footage. We hope to have an
internet connection in the room, so we can plunder the net for sources and
sites.

Come and share your experience and expertise in trolling the universe for
images and sounds.

Hope to see you there!
