1998 National Media Market

The 20th National Media Market was held from October 7-11 in Las Vegas,
Nevada, at the Alexis Park Hotel. We had perfect weather, a beautiful
hotel, and lots of excellent new titles to preview. The Market will be in
the same location next year, from October 21-24. For more information,

For the _VRT News_ I am once again gathering "Picks of the Market." If
you attended the Market this year, please send me, at the email address
below, your top 5 titles. The list will be published in the Winter issue
of the _VRT News_. Please feel free to forward this message to librarians
you know attended the Market who do not subscribe to this listserv. There
may be one or two :-).
