I asked the Hoover Presidential Library folks about the best documentary,
and got this response:

>Dear Mr. Ahrens:

>There really aren't many documentaries on Herbert Hoover. In fact, I
>have been working with a couple different production companies who
>would like to make Hoover documentaries, either for the A&E "Biography"
>series or for PBS. But those are merely dreams at this point.
>
>Currently the best documentary available is a 20-minute film that the
>Hoover Library Association had made for our Museum in 1991, when the
>facility was completely renovated. It is called "Herbert Hoover: An
>American Adventure" and is available from our gift shop. You may
>contact the shop by calling (319) 643-5301 and asking for Pam
>Hinkhouse, the store manager.
