Sembene's BLACK GIRL is distributed by New Yorker Films and they have their
own video line, New Yorker Video. If the film is out on video, Milos Stehlik
at Facets would certainly carry it. But if you want to contact New Yorker
directly to see if they have the title for public performance-only video, you
could call 212-247-6110. Linda Duchin is the new head of non-theatrical there
and she is probably the person to speak to. Also, I believe that New Yorker
carries all of Sembene's films as New Yorker's founder, Dan Talbot, has been
friends with the great African director for many years.
