We just purchased a new In-Focus lite pro unit. We no longer
consider any units that don't have both video and computer
projection capability. Units that go on a cart probably run
about $5,000 give or take, but ceiling-mounted units go for
anywhere from $7,500 to $12,500 depending on features. Also,
you need to make sure that the colors that your new unit can
display are compatible with the computer you have hooked up to
it.

We need to purchase several portable video/data projectors for classroom
use and a couple of ceiling mounted ones for large lecture halls.

Can you recommend some LCD portable ones and CRT ones? We've looked at
In-focus, NEC, and SONY demos. Any experiences with these or other ones?
Is anyone using LCD instead of CRT ones as ceiling mounted projectors?

Thanks,
