CD-ROM photoessary on global culture

Colleagues,

Here's a query that is more multimedia than video, but perhaps someone can
help? About 3-4 years ago, a CD-ROM was issued commercially that featured a
gallery of family portraits from around the world. (I read about it in the
Wall Street Journal). Each photo was set up the same: the family outside
their dwelling with their "stuff" - be it a rice cooker, VCR, pet. Maybe 40
portraits in all? It was a way to compare - in a snapshot, as it were - how
people live around the world. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks in advance,
