Dear Judy,

I think multimedia is anything to do with any item that is not a book on
it's own, used on it's own
or in conjuntion with books. It can be audio and/or visual and/or
interactive. Just a few of the items I
would include would be sound recordings - all tape, disc, or long playing
formats; video - whether on tape or disc, whatever size; computer software -
floppy, tape, disc; microforms. I'm sure there are more, but
right now I can't think of them, (which might be because I have never heard
of them. I don't get out much!) Hope this helps! Good luck!
