Copyright limitations

Rhonda,

As I understand the latest fair use copyright guidelines, not only are there
restrictions on the amount of copyrighted material one may use in a self-made,
non-commercial educational presentation, but there are also time limitations on
its use. Without checking the specific wording, I remember the time limitation
being approximately two years from the date of first use in class for material
used without written permssion. After this initial period, written permission
is required to keep and use said material for a longer period of time.

Do take the time to read the complete guidelines. The copy I have is written
not in legal-ese, but in reasonable English; and our faculty have not had
trouble understanding it. Good luck with your project.
