The two series in which I am interested are video cassettes. Series 1 includes
the following titles spanning the American Revolution through the 1870s:
The Big H
Tea Party Etiquette
Daughters of Free Men
Doing As They Can
Five Points
Dr. Toer's Amazing Magic Lantern Show
Series 2 includes the following titles spanning the late 1870s through the early
1920s:
1877: The Grand Army of Starvation
Heaven Will Protect the Working Girl
Savage Acts: Wars, Fairs, and Empire
Up South: African American Migration in the Era of the Great War
The CD-ROM you mentioned covers the same period as series 2 above and sounds
wonderful, but many of our faculty are still more interested in video programs
than computer images at this time. If, indeed, the CD-ROM you mentioned is the
same as the series 2 I have described, I will count your evaluation as an
unqualified purchase recommendation.
Thanks,
Gail
