RE: music CD's

Last year, we worked on building a classical CD collection amounting to
over $6000 worth of materials. We verified all titles in Schwann as being
available. Compact Disc World advertised that they could get anything in
Schwann and they won the bid. However, when it came down to it, they were
unable to supply at least 50% of the titles we requested and which they
initially claimed they could supply.

CD One Stop won the bid last year when we worked on a collection of CDs for
Louisiana musicians. We used their catalog as the basis of our list. This
order amounted to several thousand dollars more than our classical order.
The fill rate this time was much better but many of our requested titles
could not be supplied. However, CD One Stop was upfront in the beginning
and sent a list of titles which they could not provide before they got the
bid.
